July 17th

Last night we stayed in wabigoon rv park just east of Dryden, ontario. Warm long showers!!I hsaaved and buzzed off my hair with a number 1 cut. Very refreshing. We looked at our schedule and discovered that we had over 1800 km to get home in oshawa and nine days to do it. Therefore we have to ride just over 200 km per day with the hills! Our average speed has gone down to about 25kph or less therefore this means about 9 hours of riding and probably 11 hours total per day. We left around 930 am for upsala, a dot on the map about 120 km from thunder bay. We saw three bald eagles, four hawks and one vulture all at once just above peggy lake about 20 km north of ignace, ontario in a big clearing west of the highway. Bald eagles are very cool. We got caught in the rain again, bummer. Soaked to the bone again. Today we had 84 hills. We parked in next to the highway and railroad  for the night.  pictured is me having a nap in the rv.
