today we left from moose jaw for regina about 65 km away we started in the cold and rainy weather.  but the wind was amazing, we were going 34 kph without trying.  we arrived to find dr. milo fink?spelling? riding his bike against the wind in the rain in an effort to meet us and ride in together.  another lightning storm hit and we all waited in the rv for about 20minutes and then left.  we were greeting by regina's finest , with a police escort through town to the wascana medical rehab center.  there we met don the cpa guy, and clayton, a world class wheelchair marathoner.  everyone was so friendly, and even global tv sent a camera person who did an interview.  apparently we were on tv tonight in regina!  after that brian and i played wheelchair basketball, yep, they had chairs for us and we played with wascana's best.  it was great and hard.  i had a great time there at wascana.  we went to take care of business (ie laundry) and now are in starbucks, yes i have converted to drinking coffee again after 29 years.  it is sooooooo good!  tomorrow about 225 km to moosomin is planned.  renato
