yesterday we biked to portage la prairie about 75 km west of winnipeg with a light tail wind and still averaged about 31 kph.  we stopped at the local walmart parking lot.  reg cooked up a great dinner of peas, fried potatoe slices and marinated chicken breasts.  his cooking skills are really starting to shine.  no more cookies for dinner!! maybe we will be able to loose some weight on this adventure yet.  today we rode into winnipeg and met derrick the specialty pfizer representative.  we had a great lunch at earl's.  poor reg had to follow behind us with the rv again because the roads were so bad, and i mean bad!!!.  my poor neck and back.  i am now at starbucks again, mmmmm coffeeeeeee!  yes double double no black coffee for me, yet.  we plan to not stay tonight in winnipeg, instead we plan to bike for a couple of hours soon and head towards our home province of ontario and the endless hills around lake superior.  we should be in kenora tomorrow.  brian is in the truck sleeping now.

hi guys
renato, i heard from darin tonight. he is in winnipeg and number is 530-277-0196 (cell) i guess you guys are beyond there now
i just tried to check my email and found that i couldnt get on. called rogers and found that our rogers acount has been hacked!! our computers are ok. thet couldn ' tell who did it, but someone figured out birth dates and passwords. apparently yours wasnt hacked as bad as mine and it is now working with changed password, birthdate and security question, but mine may take 48 hours to fix!!! give me a call when you get this and we can discuss it all further. apparently the hacking happened at the level of the server and my norton couldnt have prevented it. the computer is otherwise ok. actually i was unplugged all weekend and will stay that way from now on.
had a great drive home from the cottage. lots of work this week. must get to bed.

i forgot, i emailed this info to you but didnt realize you couldnt retrieve it. for travel in northern ontario, the transcanada highway web site recommends alternate routes for cyclists due to winding roads, poor shoulder and lots of trucks. check out their site in the bicycle section. it isnt illegal to cycle there, just not recommended. i dont know if it is your chosen route or not.

Yes, that's Derrick Male, the Pfizer CV rep from Winnipeg. Thanks, Derrick, for feeding the guys!
Glad to hear that Reg is "guarding" you guys as you ride through the nasty roads of Man & N. Ont. Take it easy!

Ciao da italia. Solo facevo uno scherzo. E me, tuo fratello. Mama ha detto che io devo scrivere un blog a te. Come va? Essa ha detto che presto arriverai all Ontario. Avete fatto presto con le biciclette. Sono sorpreso. Un altro settimana e sei in Nova Scotia. Spero che stai divertiti un po in questa avventura. Ci vediamo quando ritornerai. Buona Fortuna, Dino.
